Momma stands in the hallway, watching us go handblown glass, cotton candy hair, paperdoll clothes. Tears drop onto her window-pane cheeks, blue-veined curtains hang inside wrinkled walls.
Gravity tugs on her limbs, fear sears her heart. A frightened child looks out of her eyes questioning, pleading, desperate.
Does she only now seem so frail or is the white gown against white walls? Momma stands in the hallway watching us go outstretched arms, trembling lips beg us to
